Developed by Hacienda CDC in partnership with CedarStone Design & Build, this hybrid training combines hands-on construction skills with design and building science fundamentals to prepare carpenters for the future of sustainable construction.
Our video lessons were created with you in mind. Produced by Digital Native Consultants and led by award-winning Warm Springs filmmaker LaRonn Katchia, each module brings mass timber construction to life through clear, instructor-led demonstrations and beautifully filmed sequences that walk you through every phase of the build.
This isn’t your typical training video. The curriculum weaves together safety, technique, and storytelling — connecting the craft of mass timber construction to the people, cultures, and materials behind it. If you’ve got carpentry experience and are ready to build on it, you’ll find these modules engaging, accessible, and genuinely inspiring.
From basic to high levels of experience.
Looking to transition to sustainable mass timber.
Wanting to master design and building science fundamentals.
